WHO IS BALD IS BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPHY?

Well, it's me of course! Hi, I'm Scott, just an ordinary guy who loves life and all the little nuances that it brings! Simply put, I'm a father to a wonderful son, a husband to a beautiful wife, and an amateur photographer who enjoys looking at the world through a piece of glass! I took up photography a couple of years ago, after having gastric bypass surgery. Since 12/07, I have lost 180 pounds, but found a real passion for documenting life with my camera. I could say that the big names out there have inspired me, and they have, But my true inspiration comes from the people I meet everyday who share the same thoughts and zeal I have for photography. We are truly blessed with some really great photographers around Nashville. So, what are you waiting for.... ...grab a camera, snap some pics, and enjoy life to the fullest!

4th of July 2008

Well I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We did! Beth has been house sitting this week, so RJ and I have been hanging out by ourselves. I will tell you this though, we have had a better time that the last. Boys night out (click here) was not too fun!

Beth cam home around 4 and picked RJ and myself up and we spent the afternoon and evening with some dear friends! We have known Shelia and Todd for exactly 1 year and they are the coolest and best Friends we have right now! Whats real cool is they have a son who is 1 or 2 years older than RJ. If you did not know better, you would think they are twins separated at birth by 2 years!

We cooked out, shot fireworks, swam and played card games all afternoon! In fact if you looked at all the food we had, you would think we were feeding an army. Really, how much food can 3 gastric bypass patients, 1 normal eating adult, and 2 children can eat in one sitting? Not this much, thats for sure!

Anyway, we had a blast..firework joke! And we hope you did too!

2 words of love !:

Glad to read you and your family had a nice 4th pinic. Boy, that was a lot of food. Looks like you'll be having left overs all week this week. :)

I love your blog... cause you love your wife, yourself, family, church and overall I think you and your wife kind, happy folks. Have a good Sunday!

The 4th is always a little bit different for people with lots of little kids... but we made it work for us.

We bought sparklers and watched the fireworks on TV until the kids were so tuckered out, they fell asleep on the couch. It was nice.

Not the grand adventures that Jay and I used to do, but we're in a new adventure in our lives now, and wouldn't trade a minute of it.

Glad you had a wonderful 4th celebration, too! :o)
