As the new dawn breaks,
A new day has begun.
Alone I stand,
Before your glorious Son.
For today is just beginning,
Time for a new start.

With Your word on my heart.
Your Son breaks forth,
Providing warmth for my face.

Preparing for the race.
As the day moves on,
I glance toward the sky.

As You reside on high.
As the sun sets low,
And the light disappears.
